MEETING BUSINESS
PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES – Glynnette Hale
The June 2011 BoD Meeting Minutes submitted to the board were approved as submitted. Minutes have been posted on the Chapter’s Website by Larry.
The July transitional board meeting was not official as a quorum of officers was not present,
Attending were: Glynnette M. Hale; CPE, Richard Cottrill, E; Sam Garrell, CPE; and
Joe Flemming, CPE, therefore no meeting minutes were done for the meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT – Glynnette Hale
The 2011 Treasurer’s Report, for June and July 2011 were submitted to the Board for approval by Glynnette. The reports were reviewed by the Board and approved as submitted.
TECHNICAL COMMITTEE REPORTS
Certification: -- Bob McMartin, CPE
Bob McMartin was not in attendance at this meeting, but Glynnette reported Michael Rich is still in the process of obtaining his CPE per an e-mail from Bob. He has not yet renewed his dues for 2011-2012 and Glynnette will contact him about this. (E-mail was sent to Michael Rich on 18Aug2011, and he has renewed his membership.)

Larry has an upcoming meeting with the Construction Reporter folks and is waiting for another session of classes to be set up.

Per information received at National Convention, all chapter technical committee chairmen will be contacted by the National Committee Chairs this coming year.
STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS
Awards: -- Glynnette Hale, CPE
No activity to report. New award guidelines were to be sent to chapter presidents by August 01, 2011, but they have not yet been received. Joe Flemming contacted SBO and the guidelines are being retyped in new format.
They hope to have to us by September 01, 2011.
By-Laws:
At the national convention in July:
Proposed by-law amendment #01 regarding Lifetime CPE membership classification was defeated;
proposed by-law amendment #02 regarding Dues renewal returning to August 01 each year for all members was passed and proposed by-law amendment #03 was approved as modified to exclude any reference to LCPE.

Joe Flemming attended the National Convention in Nashville as National 1st VP and as representative for the Reno Chapter.
Glynnette Hale attended the National Convention also representing our Chapter carrying 20 votes and Jack O’Neill attended carrying his 1 vote.

Glynnette has contacted the members that have not yet renewed for 2011-2012 and will continue to information from SBO is received.
