The monthly meeting of the ASPE Board of Directors (BOD) was called to order at Fiesta’s Mexican Restaurant, on July 15, 2009 @ _5:45__ pm.

No minutes for June’s BOD have been presented for approval.

TREASURER’S REPORT – Ralph Spengeman

Ralph did not present a treasurer’s report as this is the end of our fiscal year and we are waiting for the July bank statement. Ralph turned over the checkbook, etc. to incoming treasurer, Glynnette. Glynnette will present July and August treasurers reports at the August BoD meeting.

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS

Ralph submitted documentation to SBO for Chapter Achievement Award. If approved, the award will be presented at the upcoming national convention in St. Louis, MO.

Finance: -- Ralph/Glynnette/Larry

The finance committee will audit last years books as soon as the July bank statement is received and reconciled and the three members can get together for this task. Glynnette will establish and present the 2009-2010 budget to the BoD at the August BoD meeting and if approved will present to membership at the September membership meeting.

Glynnette will send Larry copies of her attendance lists for membership meeting and BoD meetings for the 2008-2009 meetings.

A “retreat” for the outgoing and incoming Board of Director’s has been scheduled for August 01, 2009 to be held at Yearout Mechanical beginning at 8:00am. All members are encouraged to attend.
